Sets 1 through 10

First:
I hate working with meshes where the jacket was obviously built off the MAXIS pirate coat and boots mesh- because with that mapping around the front edges of the jacket lining trim for it is a nightmare for me. But Lidiquinata and Besen and Sussi before her did make some nice meshes for both adult and teen, so I do have and use them. However, I thought of a better way (at least for me) to build the jacket via alphas. And another personal tick when making clothing is that if the outfit would be something worn in layers, I like using the various stages when sensible as the different categories. What do I mean by that?
Using my new mesh I made 32 colors of a simple 18th century suit complete with matching jacket, waistcoat, and breeches over a white underskirt and stockings. The suit works as both everyday, formalwear, and outerwear. Yet to remove the jacket and leave the waistcoat creates a more informal and indoor look. (The fact that my male Sims never took their coats off looked a bit weird whenever I played.) Remove the waistcoat and now it is not only an informal everyday outfit but good for active-wear. Once I was down to 'shoes, stockings, pants, but no shirt' I needed a new mesh that was the nude top paired with Lidi's bottoms.
Trust me, all will become clear in the next few posts.

Set 1:
"No Shoes, No Shirt, and I Still Get Service"
The 32 colors in period breeches (original texture modified from AAS) and white stockings. This is underwear, and it's on Aquilegia's Improved Fat Morph Blockfeet Nude, because I use sexyfeet and agree that the male fat-morph looks much better.
I waffled back and forth about making these swimwear-enabled as well, so in the end your men can ruin their stockings by getting soaked- but at least only their pants and stockings.
As these are on Aquilegia's meshes, I have the teen version for this set as well.

I'm going to add a few colors of this to the LBB blockfoot nude for my Tulkas Sim and maybe a few others, because wearing Rococo clothing or not, he's still the boisterous god of unarmed combat and should look more muscular than the others. But that's once I decide his colors. And I've done this little outfit 64 times, so I'm holding off. If anyone wants to do this on their own time, feel free. The meshes exist.
And now that my Secret Santa this year made me LBB conversions of all the adult male meshes in the following sets, Tulkas can really enter Arda. Well, he needs a beard, so he'll still end up last to arrive. Which- canon!
In fact, feel free to use any of my textures for any project. Just credit back somehow, please.

Set 2:
"Found My Shoes, Highwayman Stole the Shirt"
New mesh, same textures, but added 18th century shoes. This is the mesh with nude top and suit bottom. Each shoe comes in one of three colors: dark brown, black, or almost black, and three metals for the buckle - either a silver or one of two gold/brassy shades. These are active-wear, so you have teams of 'shirts' versus 'no-shirts' for your games. And to eye the powdered-wig beefcakes.

Set 3:
"Shoes Plus Shirt Equal a Little More Dignity"
First set on the alpha mesh. Now I've added the white undershirt. The shirts actually come in one of four shades- white, timebomb, milk, or for two of the colors, ecru. The differences are very subtle unless you have them next to each other. And the time and effort to build a decently authentic plain white shirt texture is more than you'd believe.

Categorized for everyday and active-wear.

Set 4:
"Tie a Cravat 'Round It"
The second version of the white undershirt plus pants is almost exactly the same except the added detail of a neckband, the bit of falling collar fabric that adds a bit of dandy. The cravat is on a piece of alpha that gives it a 3-D effect. Again, since this set is almost identical to the one above, if you want you can mix and match which colors to keep, maybe half with the cravat and half without.

Categorized for everyday and active-wear.
